Once again CarAdvice spot the upcoming 2008 Ford Falcon (Orion) out and about. This time around a CarAdvice reader (Alan) has sent us two images of the Orion undergoing testing in Benalla, Victoria.
Ford has stepped up testing ahead of a possible public debut before year’s end. The new Falcon is set for release early next year. For more spyshots click here.

how did you get so close to take the 2nd pic?
And is that in a fuel station ? If so why were they there ? {please not the obvious answer cause I would imagine Ford have their own pumps back at head quarters} Are Ford playing with us and is this a mule ?

Yes it is in a servo. Mobil servo in Benalla. I walked inside the servo and took a pic from there LOL. Wish i could have got more!!

enough already,
i am getting itchy and I am ready to upgrade. i might have to go a BF mk11 xr6 if this doesnt come soon. please ford could you give some sort of a release date? or confirm some stats or even give test drives before release date like they did with the territory.
i wont be surprised to see it this year as most manufacturers like to release around september to ensure they get a shot at being judged in the car awards etc and also if they want it to compete in V8’s they also need to release it before the inclusions list is closed for next year.(i forget when that one shuts off).
the main thing i will wait for is XR6 ute on an injected gas system with the 6sp auto or at least the 5sp man back.
im positive they will deliver this so i dont think im getting my hopes up.
if they already had the injected system running on man or 6sp auto i would have already upgraded.not to say anything is wrong with the current setup but i would rather wait a little longer to get the better injection and a larger choice of boxes, but hopefully it wont be too long.
next year is still 6mths away so i hope its not that far. maybe ill drive backwards for a bit so mine doesnt click over that 100,000k mark before it comes he he he he

Did you notice any changes to the ‘A’ pillar angle & windscreen shape?
Ford better not make a mess of this one they need a 2 door coupe with a bit of grunt that will kick some ass
Those sketches of the Typhoon , GT, GTP 2008 they are killer leave it like it is.
Should of got a job at Ford and I may have been able to drive one of these Orions. [kiking my self]
Too close to those Swap’n'Go gas bottles, it’s a shame that guy wasn’t there, we would of seen right inside the car.
