I bought a 2010 CDX Diesel Turbo Cruze. It has had numerous problems ie: constant error messages, new motor for windows, error in airbags, weak condenser for aircon. (had a fight with holden to reim me for this $1,100 - I won) I paid top dollars for this heap of ###.
Kept getting error message 'engine malfunction' left it at the dealers for the day - told nothing to worry about just an error light - good to go. Well the car broke down while I was away from home - I have had an absolute nightmare with Holden roadside assist and Holden Customer service (RUDE) NRMA towed the car home for me 4 hour drive and even gave me a lift home because I had been stranded for 4 days.
The car has been at the Holden service for 2 days now with no ETA on being fixed - because they can't find what to fix. The error message was telling them the diesel filter was not auto cleaning and the particles have choked the motor. The car is lucky to go 20 klms an hour. Holden told me to drive it home (4hour drive) The mechanics say no!!!! it's not to be driven. I am frustrated, angry at Holdens service and really don't know what to do next. I demanded some transport today and I was given a disgusting, filthy smelly, no guts at all trade-in to use.

hi i own the cdx cruze, great car, once owned a few things 2 get used of is the turbo lag when taking off, but once she goes she goes, another thing is the mirrors, i fixed that with bigger and better mirrors, but stock mirrors are no good, were bad for blind spots, another thing that is bad is the handling, not made for fast cornering, but i fixed that with sports suspention, Apart from all of that, id still rate the car a 9 out of 10, as being a really good car, i must say though mine would be the best looking out of the lot of them, nothing on my car is stock standard any more, what can i say was a great car 2 do up, any1 looking 2 buy 1 go for it, dont need 2 do the things ive done 2 make it go or look better, cause as is, she is a great car stock standard.

I'm a Bosch-trained diesel fuel injection tradesman. Companies like Bosch who manufacture the injection system do so to certain tolerances and compromises. Dont you think if the injectors, pump and return valve could handle extra pressure they would build it like that in the first place? Thats why Bosch developed the Piezo injectors to handle the extreme differential pressure of the 1800bar system. Go ahead and fit the 'chip' which like I mentioned before, just fools the output from the pressure sensor in the fuel rail and causes the ECU to run higher than normal rail pressures. You might be lucky, it might last 5 years, but it will fail sooner than a standard setup, not to mention warranty and insurance woes. Fit at your own risk people - just take into account the negatives when deciding.

I fit turbo charges, and supercharges for a living, plus have a lot of experience with chips in cars, never get 1s that are made in china they will damage your car. The 1s from italy will not damage any motor parts gauranteed, no need 2 remove them for warranty sake, just make sure they are made in Italy. Im not here 2 sell chips but just giving you some guidance. Any more questions just ask.
