Ferrari 599 Fiorano China Limited Edition

Ferrari has approved a one off edition of its 599 GTB Fiorano, signed by famous Chinese artist Lu Hao, who has exhibited his version of modern Chinese ‘landscapes’ all over the world.

In September, Ferrari announced plans for a small series of 599 GTB Fiorano China Limited Edition models, which won acclaim in China.

The exclusive one-off will feature various design elements of that series, which were finished in a two-tone Rosso Fucco with Silver roof.

But this super exclusive Ferrari will be finished in what looks like Ge Klin porcelain from the Song Dynasty.

There are less than a few hundred pieces of Ge Klin porcelain in existence today, and they are considered priceless.

It’s a cracked glaze pattern which is said to have the lustre of jade and is one of China’s most distinctive ancient arts which made its way to the West via the silk road thousands of years ago.

It’s an interesting look and certainly more art than beauty, but part of the proceeds from the sale of the car will be used to sponsor Chinese students in the automotive design area, which we wholeheartedly support.
