Pagani teases new Huayra variant – video

Pagani has given fans cause for excitement this week with the release of a new video that appears to hint at a new and even more ramped-up version of the Huayra.

Giving away few details in the dark and mysterious video, this seemingly carbon-fibre-clad version of the supercar, appears to show a roof-mounted air intake meaning fans were not getting a sneak peak of the Huayra roadster that is reported to debut at the Monterey Car Week in California in August.

An aggressive aero package is also visible, hinting further at its expected race-ready demeanour.

The video comes just weeks after the Italian supercar maker pulled the covers from the Huayra BC, a track-focussed monster version of the supercar, at the 2016 Geneva motor show.

The Huayra BC boasts a huge 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 engine pushing out 588kW of power and 1000Nm of torque.

At this stage, performance specs for the teased car are unknown.

It’s speculated that this teased version of the Huayra will be along the same lines as the ultra-limited edition Zonda Cinque which launched back in 2009.

Strengthening rumours that a Cinque-esque car is in the pipeline is Pagani’s collaboration once again will high-end British supercar dealer, Refined Marques.
