If you are comparing Holdens with Audi swampdawg maybe you should stay in your swamp. You obviously have not owned either vehicle. Every machine has it good and bad points… I myself, love em all !

I thought the HSV R8 / Bragsport were about $70-$75k & three yrs later worth about half that retail & btw could you please contain the nagging ?

$60K is still a lot of money for something like that.. comparing to a $350K Audi which you expect to pay for.. not only do you pay for the brand, you pay for the years of research and quality..

They actually look quite big and agressive on the road, but I have had the pleasure of a walk-around and look-in, and they are small! Well, they appear that way anyway. They seem impossibly low and seem too short! I don’t think the tiny garage-stature is uncommon though. Seeing (the admittedly large) Jeremy Clarkson stand next to most supercars and you soon get an idea that they aren’t so “big”.

If it’s only a 50kg reduction, that seems hardly worth the effort for something weighing over 1600kg. I wonder where the saving will come from since they are unlikely to ditch the awd system.
