The upcoming 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe has been teased in a short video clip today, ahead of its global debut at this month’s New York motor show.

Following on from the spy shots that we reported yesterday, the GLC coupe looks to stay very true to the concept that was unveiled at the 2015 Shanghai motor show.

Sharing a familiar face with its more conventional GLC sibling, the rump of the GLC coupe follows the same design already seen on the larger GLE coupe.

In the 25-second video, a partially-camouflaged prototype is being put through its paces on a test track, with the sporty engine note very audible in the background – suggesting we could be looking at a GLC43 version set cheekily on lower-spec wheels.

Set for a world premiere at the 2016 New York motor show on March 23rd, the next SUV coupe from the German luxury marque is less than a week away from being fully unveiled.

Stay tuned for our coverage on the New York motor show next week.
