2017 Holden Colorado ute facelift surfaces online again

A grainy photo of what could launch in Australia as the updated 2017 Holden Colorado ute have surfaced online again this week.

This latest leak follows the publishing of a spy photo last week that offered a first glimpse of the new-look Colorado update that will likely make a Thai-market debut in the months ahead.

The above image, posted to Instagram by Brazilian website BFMS, reveals that little else about the Colorado's visual styling has changed, although we may yet see revisions at the rear end when the updated SUV makes its official debut.

It remains to be seen if this new look will come to Australia, but with the Thai- and Brazilian-market Colorado utes already wearing the same look as our local model, it would seem a good chance.

For its part, Holden has so far confirmed only that it has “some exciting plans” for the Colorado. More on that here.

If this is indeed the new look for Australia’s Colorado, expect it to go official either later this year or early in 2017.

Interestingly, the same website that published last week's spy photo, MZ Crazy Cars, has posted a doctored image (bel0w) of the new-look ute's face merged with the body of the familiar Colorado 7 SUV, sold overseas as the Trailblazer.
