This will be an interesting test. Of course the winner will depend on what you want. If it is space, comfort and the economy and grunt of a turbodiesel engine, then the Hyundai will be superior to the Honda.

I am biased as an owner of a turbodiesel iMax it is a great vehicle to live with and incredible how much space inside for 8 people plus loads of luggage and gear.

From that list the Honda should be a clear winner in the drive and fit'n'finnish.

I also think its the best looking people mover.

Then you should consider VW Caravelle ... or may be Hyundai iMax modified with front seats from iLoad?

The comparison info you put together in 2009 was great, but with new laws on child restraints, one of the big things that reviews of 7 seaters never seem to include is info on child restraint points. eg a friend just bought an odyssey but if you need child restraints in both the second and third row of seats, you end up with straps passing across the top of the third row making it awkward to climb in and also across the cargo area, limiting space (eg for prams!) - not ideal!
it would be great if your next review took into account how easily child restraints are accommodated (and top marks please to any vehicles putting the restraint points on the back of the seat, which takes up the least room of all). also take into account the size of the cargo area when all rows of seats are in use having particular regard to ease to accommodate a variety of prams! (eg ford territory can probably take a small stroller in the back when all seats are up, but not your typical newborn style stroller).

That Tarago in the picture isn't the latest model. There has been a facelift since then (I think it is simply cosmetic though, not sure though).

Anyways, just thought I'd let you know.
