Lamborghini Centenario confirmed for Geneva motor show – video

The special new Lamborghini Centenario has been confirmed for a Geneva motor show debut, after weeks of reports and speculation, revealing that the 100th anniversary of founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s birth will be celebrated in style.

The news comes on the heels of leaked design patent images that surfaced earlier this month, offering a first look at a special-edition model not identified but very likely to be the coming Centenario.

Wearing typical flamboyantly futuristic Lamborghini lines, the greyscale images revealed a long body with a black canopy, matched to a selection of intakes, vents and a huge rear diffuser.

No further details have been made official, although power is expected to come from a 556kW version of the company’s 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12.

Watch for the Centenario to debut in the days ahead.
