2016 Mitsubishi Triton Geoseek, ASX Geoseek concepts revealed
The 2016 Mitsubishi Triton and 2016 Mitsubishi ASX have come in for a few light tweaks ahead of next week’s Geneva motor show.
Revealed today after first being previewed in January, the Geoseek concepts are described as “a dash of flavour” for both models, adding a handful of accessories aimed at outdoor enthusiasts.
Both are finished in a “solid tone pearl” grey, matched to fluorescent orange highlights all-round.
Styling tweaks include mesh inner grill and a front skid plate on both the Triton and ASX, and each get a roof basket for additional storage capacity.
The Triton’s basket features working lights and hand holds on the roof rails, while the ASX’s version gets LED fog lamps.
The interior is still to be revealed, but Mitsubishi promises even more orange accents and “functional” seat trim that includes mesh centre panels and a suede-like low-slip fabric to the bolsters.
Both concepts will debut in Geneva.
