Nissan 370Z Roadster to be on show at Goodwood Revival
September 18, 2009 by Matt Brogan
Nissan will unveil its new 370Z Roadster alongside some of its most iconic predecessors at the UK’s Goodwood Revival this weekend.
Although the Roadster isn’t due to go on sale until March next year, the event will allow UK buyers to get their first look at the stunning new Z model.
The Roadster will feature the same 3.7-litre V6 engine as found in the coupe and will be available with the same transmission options – a close-ratio six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic – as already available.
The folding soft-top opens and closes in one quick and easy movement and is also been designed to minimise wind noise when both up and down.
“The famous Goodwood Revival gives us the perfect stage to show the 370Z Roadster off to the public for the first time,” said Mr Paul Willcox, MD of Nissan Motor Great Britain. “Nissan has a strong and lengthy performance car heritage which is what makes our sports models so special today. We can’t wait to get the Roadster on sale in Britain and this gives potential buyers a sneak preview.”
Australian delivery timing, specifications and pricing will be announced closer to the launch.

ehh.. not bad as far as convertibles go.
sadly looks quite afterthought though. strange how the soft-top cover (boot lid?) crease doesnt line up with the window belt strip… or how the windscreen has no top. id also assume itd add more weight, and cost more than an allready very expensive car.
..yep, id just take the coupe.
I quite like it. I’d certainly rather one over the coupe; it looks much better.
I think this looks alot better than coupe version specially without a horrible C pillar.
Whats the price quote?
Pity no solid folding roof which is the norm these days
