2017 Aston Martin DB11 front-end and profile surface online – UPDATE

UPDATE: an additional image, this time showing the DB11's side view, has surfaced online. See below.

The front end of the new Aston Martin DB11 coupe has been leaked again, and it gives us our clearest look yet at the successor to the DB9.

The photograph you see here was posted on Twitter by user RudyBenjamin13, and seems to have been taken at a customer event.

In subsequent replies on the social media site, the user confirms that the image wasn't taken in Geneva. He also declares that he doesn't care if he's bumped down (or potentially off) the waiting list for the DB11.

This photo confirms the front end design posited by an earlier low resolution leak published on Autojunk.nl.

UPDATE: A second image, this time an official if low-quality marketing image, has surfaced online. The shot above was spotted by overseas website motor1.com in an manufacturing-focused Aston Martin press release.

In terms of motivation, the DB11 seems likely to utilise the company's new in-house designed 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine. The DB11 may also be offered with a version of Mercedes-AMG's 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine.

The DB11 has been spotted in many locations around the world. Last month, the rear of the new coupe was spotted completely undisguised during a promo shoot in South Africa.

Hot on the heels of this, a disguised prototype was spotted in Geelong at a VicRoads office.
