Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera spy photos
The Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera has been spotted by our spy photographers near the Arctic Circle in northern Europe.
Visually, this prototype stands out thanks to a large cut out and extension box high up on the rear bumper housing a large set of temporary exhausts, hinting at the car's tweaked engine setup.
According to our photographers, the Superleggera, or whatever it'll be christened, has a distinctly noisier note.
It's not yet known what type of numbers this hotter Huracan will have at its disposal, but it's safe to say that it will be more powerful than the LP610-4's 5.2-litre V10, which is currently rated at 449kW of power and 560Nm of torque.
It's possible that the Huracan Superleggera could debut this year. Whenever it does break cover, expect it to feature reworked front and rear fascias with larger air intakes and exhaust vents, revised sills, and possibly a new rear spoiler and head- and tail-light graphics.
If the earlier Gallardo Superleggera is anything to go by, the production version of this car may also employ more lightweight materials, primarily carbonfibre, to reduce weight and improve performance.
