One of the 10 Aston Martin DB10 coupes created especially for the 24th James Bond movie, Spectre, will go on sale via auction.

According to Aston Martin, this is the only DB10 that will be offered for sale to the general public. The DB10 is the first Aston Martin designed specifically for the spy movie franchise.

Eight of the 10 DB10s in existance were modified for filming purposes, with the car that’s going to auction just one of two left in an untouched “show” condition suitable for events, such as the world premiere.

In order to guarantee authenticity, the DB10 heading to the auction block has been digitally scanned and passed through the company’s provenance scheme. The vehicle has also been signed by the most recent James Bond, Daniel Craig.

All 10 DB10s are hand made and feature a carbonfibre body mounted on a modified version of the V8 Vantage S’ underpinnings. Inside, there’s a hand-crafted cabin rich in leather, aluminium and carbonfibre.

Under the bonnet there’s a 4.7-litre V8 petrol engine driving the rear wheels via a six-manual transmission. Top speed is said to be around 305km/h.
