I’ve always traditionally hated brown cars, but that looks amazing in Brown.

I was a bit surprised to see the brown colour as well, many German luxury brands have recently been releasing brown promotional cars in their photos. I good metallic brown looks much better than the retro matt brown in the past!

What do people here have against brown cars? It’s just a colour, and as long as the car doesn’t look literally like crap, then what’s the problem?

Liking the design and definitely like the colour too. In profile it looks a bit like a Lambo, which isn’t a bad thing, and since Audi own Lamborghini it’s no real surprise they’d look there for some inspiration.

BMW do have a nice brown, it’s sort of a browny bronze colour, looks awesome on the M5.

Could be the new black , metalic brown was huge in the late 60′s , remember my father buying his valiant fireball 318 ci in 1969 in that same colour , very cool.

I some how beleive that this thing looks better than the coupe. The removal of the side blades just looks awesome and the bits behind the seats look wonderful.

It’s nice but I think a lot of the R8′s character is contained in the shape of the roof. This looks a lot more anonymous IMHO.
