CT, I think you have missed what the Ghost is all about. Rolls are saying that it’s a much more driver orientated car, which means that even Phantom ownwers who want a driver’s car would buy one.

I don’t understand. Why develop a less expensive model that is essentially the same concept as the Phantom (although a little smaller)? No doubt this model will lead to a lot of down-trading to the less profitable model. RR have now threaten their flagship model – why would someone spend so much on a Phantom, when the less expensive model will give you just as much… including the same elite image, etc. I think the obvious differences between the Phantom/Ghost will only be realised when both models are parked together – which will not occur too often.

So if I just spend $1M+ on a Phantom, I would be pissed off that a bunch of little people are getting the same attention driving a $700K Ghost – due to the general public not understanding the differences, or status, between the 2x models. RR should have made the Ghost a more different model to broaden the RR appeal – even be a model Phantom owners could have reason to buy. Poor Marketing…

Nice looking roller, but I think I’ll stick with my pick-up truck. I don’t think the Ghost would take too kindly to Philippine roads.
