Golly, what a disaster of a design.Frankly, HSV should just sack their highly paid design team for creating these “Korean / Chinese” looking ugly cars. To think that recently I got a stack cash and was contemplating buying a new Senator with a Walkinshaw Performance Pack. But now it seems that an SS with a Walkinshaw pack is a much better option. Since I wouldn’t get the “Shockwave” looking car or should I say it would be “Shocking” to look at it everyday, and it would be an embarrasment to drive.

To be fair, BMW has cheap looking interior too but their exterior and overall build quality is way ahead, as they should be since the car costs so much. The Aussies need to lift their game if they are to match the Germans and Japanese in quality game and if they think the VE/HSV is the way to go then they’re wrong, those are barely a beachmark in world standards and who can forget those problems that the VE has and still have.

I thought that I’m in minority thinking these cars look awful – just glad I haven’t gone blind, since majority of comments here have similar opinion to mine. HSV – you got this so wrong.

Ok, FPV’s are faster. They may have a tiny little bit less power, but they’re lighter and have more technology, that’s both in a straight line and around corners.

FPV’s are also eye catching, and muscular… and graceful but still angry looking, while at the same time not being ugly and a catastrophe like the HSV range… I’d also like to point out that FPV are actually Australian (with the exception of the V8 engine), and they’re cheaper.

Holden have been getting closer to bankruptcy every waking minute… and this is supposed to help them with their finance problems… I think not

FPV don’t need to wish for them because they have lights that work just as good if not better for a fraction on the price you’d pay for LED’s or Xenons…

in other words, you’re reinforcing the fact that HSV has no excuse for producing such a range that looks cheap and cluttered since the exterior on cars like a BMW are vastly better executed on a not so distant budget? i think that’s what Blinda was heading towards

Because it’s a unique feature. They look so cool
