A mate picked his up last Friday and I ordered mine yesterday. I appreciate not everyone likes the look but I reckon it’s great. Drive one and your view may change. I bought mine to drive not pose in, possibly the negative comments are coming from people that want a car in the hope being seen in it will add to their masculinity?

YOU guys are all bloody wrong, go out and look at one, in person, test drive and see what you think afterwards, these cars are unbelievable, the pictures are good but don’t do them justice, also i’m sick of all you outsider young people bagging them cos you guys can’t afford one and will nerver get to drive one,….. saying that, you only have negative things to say about them because you are all jelous you cant have one!!!!!

appreciate the car for what it is not what it looks like in a release photo!!!!

or if you got nothing nice to say don’t say it at all….. that’s what mothers years ago tought us

That may be so ..

However; when you consider the torture of stop start driving most Taxis [Falcons and Commodores] are put through for up to 18-24 hours a day by their overly aggressive drivers – compared to the 2-4 hours of driving [to and from the local shops] cars like Camrys and Aurions are put through each week by their dithering elderly drivers

It shows that [despite what you might think] the fact that HSVs and FPVs are derived from Taxis they are based on cars that have a proven record for reliability and longevity. Because the last thing a Taxi owner/driver wants is a car that spends alot of time off the road and is costly to repair

Then there’s the fact that most Police cars [Falcons and Commodores] which also receive rather harsh treatment – particularly in pursuits.. which tests there performance and handling characteristics

.. and what do you think Merc-Benzs Audis and BMWs are in Germany..? TAXIS and Police Cars

HSV’s and FPV’s are all taxi’s with ugly looking bodykits. Maybe when they take these cars to the Ring and show me the lap times I’ll reconsider their sporty pretensions, although I seriously doubt it.

hate the E2 series with a passion, it looks like some westy and his friends have been given 2 strips of LED’s and had permission to design a body kit, absolutely try hard
