Honda NSX Delayed

July 22, 2007 by Alborz Fallah

With Toyota getting ready to launch the Lexus LF-A and Nissan following closely with the new Nissan GT-R, Honda have so far been in the race to launch the all new Honda NSX at this year’s Tokyo International Motorshow. Not anymore according to Honda chief Takeo Fukui who dissapointed fans late last week by announcing the NSX’s absence at the motorshow.

No specific release date was given for the next generation NSX which has been caught testing in Germany. Mr Fukui also told reporters that the Acura brand which Honda use for their upscale models in the U.S. will also not come to Japan till 2010 at best – due to suitability concerns for the Japanese market.

We should all be hopeful that Honda is not setting an example for Toyota and Nissan.
