Fiat came out with the first electronic injection car with the Croma, then invented the common rail engine and sold the IP to Bosch…

If FIAT sell the multiair IP to Bosch this time, I propose a public lynching for those responsible…

Mainstream European manufacturers have crap reliability. Opels are the worst of the best. The French cars are just rubbish in this area. Even Euro loving Top Gear rubbishes French cars

You guys are living in the past…Fiat cars are no less or more reliable than mainstream European manufacturers.

Europs Fastest growing brand and bucking the GFC with clever , stylish and innavative cars.

Some other German brands are bleeding sales across Europe by up to 35%. Fiat goes from strength to strenght and making other manufactures nervous.

I agree,

It is accepted Fiat cars are good with fuel as that is a market requirement in Europe but that is only part of the story.

The cars though are trouble prone and have a shorter life then most Japanese cars so it is false economy.

It takes lots of energy to make and service a car and it is here Fiat fails with a short life and high costs.
