I put the Impco BRC Sequent 56 forth generation system
on my Suzuki and it wrecked the engine. The only symtoms
were stalling shortly after atarting. No engine errors.
5 mechanics could not find the problem, until a compression test was done. The car was new. Stalling started around 45,000 and got progressively worse.

Mate Toyota’s are the weakest cars going around... you say that you work for them because you love their product what product? Fricken plastic on wheels... im a chippie and have driven the commodore, falcon utes and the new hilux also the ford ranger XLT... ur comparing a commodore and flacon ute to a hilux that’s like comparing the queen with Jen Hawkins!! The best work horse I have ever driven that is comfortable has the best ride best handling and doesn’t feel like a 30 year smoker towing 3 tonne is the duel cab ranger XLT and Wildtrack... Toyota like to think that they have the best cars coz they are the biggest car manufacture but the only u reason they got there was because of all the asians and indians buying corollas and Camry’s... And the aurion, that is a complete joke of a car... which dumb ass decided to build a 200kw aurion as a front wheel drive? You complete idiots! How many people that actually want to drive a car that has precision power and handling that is way beyond Toyota’s knowledge would buy the aurion? NO ONE!!! Back to the utes Toyota hilux’s feel cheap. Have the shitest handling and don’t even get me started on off road because I would feel more comfortable on the back of a horse... so if I were you I would just shut up and not mention Toyota anymore!!

Not sure if covered yet, but the holden ute(pictured) tub (LPG or not) is not wide enough to fit all versions of cement sheet/plaster/timber flat on the bottom, it is just over 1200mm wide so it can't fit a 48" (imperial) sheet that often is required. The Ford ute can fit both version in the base model. The Ford LPG ute puts the tanks where the petrol tanks were so you don't lose any storage space either, I think personally the Ford Ute is a better option as it also drives better under load.

IMO, LPG technology may well be what saves Holden and Ford. When the economy revs up again the price of Diesel and Petrol will sky rocket.

Im hearing you Gilly on the Terry based Ute.

Thats the only thing that might see me out of a Falcon ute branded vehicle, Ill be fronting up tomorrow if they do it.

Our only hope is if the Aussie designed T6 global truck platform is heavily Terry influenced

Yes, Ok on to your 3 reasons......

Falcon has more torque, can carry a Heavier load and can tow more than Hilux making all your "3 Reasons" for the Hilux being the Tradies choice totally misguided.
The many many reasons I mentioned after that just shows that the Falcon ute just offers so much more.

4 Grand cheaper you say for the Lux???
Yeah but you get a vehicle that should be 10 grand cheaper.
4 Grand is nothing to the Tradie who writes it off on Tax anyway.

You also wont find a Tradie buying a Bunnings branded power drill over a Makita or Dewalt just because they are Hundreds cheaper will you???
4 Grand is nothing for a piece of equipment that does the job with out frustration.

For example I paid 700 Bucks for my cordless drill when I could have easily bought an "Ozito" branded Drill from Bunnings for $30.
Why??? because its frustrating to use equipment that isnt easy to use and isnt powerfull enough.

I bought a Falcon ute over a Jap ute even though I could have easily picked up a run out Japper from some dealer for 20K
Why???? because its frustrating to use equipment that isnt easy to use and isnt powerfull enough.

The Hilux may carry more and may tow more than the Commodore - it should; seeing as its a Pick up and not a Ute like the Commodore is

However because suspension in the Hilux is stiffer than that in the Commodore - the ride for the occupants is nowhere near as good as the Commodor; or your load should you be carrying anything fragile

The Hilux doesn't absorb the bumps and other imperfections in the road as well nor does it handle as well around corners [even at reasonably safe speeds]. its steering is virtually dead

You wouldn't want to go from Sydney to Perth in a Hilux because by the end of it your back would be absolutely stuffed and your muscles etc would be in pain - unlike driving a Commodore ute

The Commodore only has one real direct rival - the Falcon Ute.. end of story
