I wonder how it will take for China to be the largest producer of cheap cars or cars period? It may be awhile.Plus imagine all the safety concerns. To get part of there market GM and Ford will have to show them how to build better cars and they will pay us back by sucking the rest of the automobile manufacturing from America. How sad, a country with no sustainable exports to sell. The only thing left would be to maybe try to get part of the"Sham Wow" market. We could give China a run for there money.

Chrysler will get much better small cars than the Tiida from Fiat: the kings of small cars. By the way, Titan is an excellent name for a ute: I hope Nissan don't waste it in the next model.

Salesman,

Forget Tata and Mahindra, they are already here and wish to establish themselves in their own right. I am waiting for an established brand to start badge engineering unknowen chinese brands, there seems to be enough to choose from, and the Chinese will be more than willing to play along in return for technology and designs to copy.

Nissan can talk to Toyota - apparently they have plenty of spare manufacturing capacity at the moment.

Nissan will have to extend the current model Titan until the new model is ready. I dont think it was a wise move for them to affiliate their 'truck' with a Dodge Ram anyway, as the quality image of the Ram is not that flash. Having said that neither is the diesel Patrol or Navara lately. A bit different from the absolutely bulletproof engineering from Nissan in the '80s and '90s, you couldnt kill those things if you tried.
