In 25 years we have been a two car family driving only Mazdas and Subarus. Three Mazda 929s - five Subies...our currenty cars are new Liberty and Outback...AND a twenty year old 929 Station Wagon with over 300,000 clicks on the 'clock' that we can't bear to sell! It is as new...EVERYTHING still works! It is also by far the best car to drive! (We only change cars for business reasons and we have been known to shed a tear at trade-in time))

The one great thing that our cars share is STONE AXE RELIABILTY!

People who don't buy Subaru or Mazda can't read! Bugger the fancy badges and 'European handling' crap! RELIABILITY IS EVERYTHING in buying and owning a car!

I had a look at a Forrester I am trying to weigh up between that, a Suzuki V6 or 4 cyl 4WD or a Ford RTV ute.I was unsure why Forrester has so many drink holders - i feel the designers may have a cup holder fetish.
