I’m not sure about the rear, I’ll have to see more. I like it far more than the lift-back though. My only problem is that the lines on the back are almost identical to that of the Audi A6 Avant.

Sure Skoda had it’s dodgy past during the Communist period.
But before then, they were brilliant, and now they are too!!
And lets not forget, the skoda cars australia received back then were actually made in NZ, and apparently even in Australia!!

Looks promising: probably the one I’d get as the rear will be more resolved in the style stakes than the the sedan. Both excellent cars, but will probably get over looked by families because to some, Skoda is a joke due to its dodgy ancestors in Australia. Most have never driven a new Skoda, but their Grandfather had one and has been telling them how bad it was since they were kids. Old habits die hard.

Let’s hope it comes as a 7-seater. There are astonishingly few 7-seaters available in Australia that are not SUVs or do not look like buses.

Finally! A worthy option for my Passat upgrade in a few years. Considering VW won’t bring the Phaeton here this will do just nicely TYVM. Make mine 125KW TDI with DSG – Ta.

Judging from just that pic, I’m more of a fan to the hatchback. The rear is just Fabia…
