2015 Peugeot 308 Total Package limited-edition lands in Australia
The 2015 Peugeot 308 range has added a limited-edition model to its line-up, dubbed the ‘Total Package’, priced at $26,990 drive-away.
Although it’s not loaded to the brim with additional kit (the new special’s name is a salute to Peugeot’s 20-year product and motorsports partnership with Total Lubricants), the 308 Total Package picks up a handful of styling extras.
Based on the $24,690 (drive-away) 308 Access automatic, the Total Package 308’s standout upgrade is a set of black nine-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Continental 225/45/ZR17, replacing the Access model’s usual 15-inch steelies.
The Total Package also includes a blacked-out grille, a front spoiler, colour-coded exterior wing mirrors (red, blue or black decals), and Total Oils badging.
Peugeot says that the additional $2300 over the regular Access represents $5000 in extra value.
As with the regular Access model, power in the Total Package 308 is powered by a 96kW/230Nm 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine, matched to a six-speed automatic.
Features already standard with the 308 Access include LED daytime running lights, cruise control, manual air conditioning, Bluetooth phone connectivity, USB port and a CD player. Six airbags and electronic stability control are also standard.
Limited to 30 examples, in white finish only, the 308 Total Package is available now.
