Its not just about design though is it?! The current generation of megane is decades behind in technology, build quality and reliability. They need to put a complete package together, something with a tech wow factor otherwise they will be discounted as a non existant brand that is standing still at best but probably falling behind.

I dont regard it as a ’step’ backwards, i call it a crash and burn. I really dont like the look of the new car.

‘revolution in car design’ – hmmm – many regard the new generation Megane as a step back towards conservative design for the marque.

Usually booted hatchbacks tend to look quite alkward (eg VW Jetta) but from what i can make out the overall proportions look quite attractive.

I wouldn’t call it a, ‘revolution in car design’. The new megane looks like any other small car on the road at the moment. What i don’t understand is why Nissan can’t use this platform for the Tiida!
