will agree about the cotton(pesticides etc).but don’t go there with water allications.this political problem is not going away any time soon.there is something seriously wrong with this country when the gov’t of the day makes it more profitable for farmers to sell their water than to actually grow something.hey,you shop at woolies/coles too,figure it out(or are you just a city slicker who winges at all the dust storms)…

Badass – I think the reason why People O/S know about Holden but they don’t know about Ford-Oz could be because years ago Detroit was scared that if they let cars from overseas into the US it would show how inferior their Sedans are.

That was until Bob Lutz saw what potential Holden had to offer.. Hopefully Mulally will see the same with Ford-Oz.

BTW: J&H – Rice is something that we should not be growing in Australia nor is cotton.

I’m glad to see the FPV is used in this. All too often only Holdens are referred to as ‘Aussie’ when Ford is just as Australian. It annoys me that Ford doesn’t promote it’s cars like it should: whereas Holden doesn’t stop. It was a shame that Jeremy only tested HSV’s on Top Gear: I’m sure he would have preferred the louder Boss engine. But if Ford doesn’t do exports, than Ford doesn’t get recognised. I know a few people overseas who know Holden from the G8 and the Monaro, but had no idea Ford had an Australian division!
