A highly unlikely transition to reality.

    Flying High..

name 1 concept sketch vehicle that became close to its production counter part.

Concept vehicles are just that… artist impressions.

However the bumper above is similar already in some current lexus vehicles… the high hip is also present in today’s vehicles…

Nice! I honestly think it’s a nice idea….. let’s hope that it’s not just a rebadged Corolla but.

  5. RoFlmaTiC says:

How about the toyota xyr concept that later turned out to be the 7th gen celica Lukaas :)

  6. Baddass says:

Is it based on a shortened Is250 platform or the Corolla’s?

  7. The Realist says:

As long as they don’t go FWD…

I’m waiting to hear from all the people who have said in the past that the Lexus brand has far more prestige and class than BMW, Audi or Mercedes because they don’t have cars like the 1 Series, the A3 and the A Class. I don’t see how introducing a hatchback takes class and prestige away from a brand, but I’d like to see what those people are thinking now.
It does look quite good, though I’m a bit worried about the back – the back window line is a little suspect right now. Something tells me that when we see the production version it will have 16″ alloys.

Their attempt to attract the younger age group !

  10. Captain Mainwaring says:

So those are 28 inch rims with two coats of creosote painted on instead of tyres? Suspension travel amounts to 3mm of chewing gum. And anybody sitting inside is going to have their eyes level with the top of their head.
So now please show us something even roughly what the real thing’s going to look like.

  11. Martin says:

    It’s no 1-series…

  12. Alex says:

BM, what do you mean by “but not for much longer”?

  13. DG says:

Corolla with lexus badges and clear tail lights?

  15. Yanzo says:
