"Proton Australia will also launch additional models within the next 12 months to compliment the range such as ......"

Will the new models be making flattering remarks to the other models?...,'compliment' means to say something nice 'complement' means to make complete

I have had my Jumbuck GL from new in 2004. It has never let me down!!! It's fun, nippy, reliable and has done everything i wanted. I use to have a riding school so you can imagine the amount of work it has done and some, including the big bales of hay which are 4'6'' long, even had a 7'6'' in this weekend. My only whinge is what muppet put the tying on hooks put inside? I have found a way to use my rachet straps using the bar at the front and the footplate at the back when i have small bales on. Fuel consumption could be better but it's still affordable. The pin fell out of the clutch just before christmas, lucky it was parked at home. This is the only thing to have gone wrong everything else has been wear and tear and services. I love my Jumbuck and couldn't be without it!!!

My main question--- Will it be imported here to the UK? I'm thinking of buying a new car and if it is being importrd, then I will definately hold on to my 2004 JUMBUCK until the new model arrives.

I like Proton. Granted I would probably never buy one but I like what they do. They actually have a very accomplished design language, if you look at the Satria and Persona. The Exora looks pleasing but more details about the Satria CPS? I'm licking my chops thinking about the R3, but does anyone have an expected power output?

Thanks Matt.

Why am I getting all these thumb-down responses? I thought it was a legitimate question.

Matt, i hope you can get your IT guys to modify your comment posting software so that it shows official comments in a different color or something. Because anybody could just write their name as "Matt" or "Alborz" and we wouldnt know for sure!

Delta,

The Proton Jumbuck is still sold in Australia as a new car, and although the design might be seven years old, our long-term test car was only built in April of this year. So, it's still relevant.

Hope that clears things up for you.

So what will happen to your long-term tester? What's the point in doing a long-term test of a seven year old car anyway?
