Ateco have nothing whatsoever to do with Peugeot Australia. Ateco do Citroen as well as the most of the Italian brands.

Peugeots are some of the best handlers in the world and most of them punch above their weight in general performance. They are also very well finished and come with a bunch of goodies - AS STANDARD!

Re Steve post below

1.Citroen NO LONGER have the magic carpet ride, this incs. the hyd.suspension ones, ie C5

2.Ateco does NOT import Peugeot into Oz

3.Its spelt Maserati

4.Yes, no factory support, shows these companies are NOT *fair-dinkum* enough to make the investment in Australia.Would NOT touch a brand like this

5.Applies to subaru, once again no factory owned/operated operation

Regards

Ning Bo

Citroen are know for their magic carpet ride, but some of their cars don’t have that anymore, due to Citroen using a more conventional suspension set up.

Renault have always been known as the performance kings. Shoe-horning humongous engines into little hatchbacks.

They’re all imported to Australia from Ateco. Made by a conglomerate of all three manufacturers under the name PSA.

Ateco also brings in Fiat, Mazeratti, Lambo and possibly some other brands… correct me if I am wrong.

I guess you’d opinion on those brands is that they are crap too because they don’t have an actual Australian dealer network and support?

I think not.

Peugeot are better known for their handling in high speed stuff. My 405 Mi16 can run rings around most stock standard WRX's.

Jeez Otto, why don't you just say "it's not a commodore"!

BTW, the magic carpet ride refers to Citroen's hydro-pneumatic suspension.

Hate the big MOUTH on the Peugeots

Also the magic-ride/handle combo is all stuffed

Ugly with the roof up

Useless back seat

No factory owned operation in Oz
