Soo, if you put this up against 45 midgets or 11 fat people the Toureg would lose in a tug of war duel? To make it fare 44 midgets and 10 fat people would have to consume a combined 4.5 tonnes of donuts. Doing this would give the fat people and midgets better traction. Also give the people some good hard yakka boots with steel caps make sure they step on eachothers toes. Safety First!

Like I said, if 44 “little people” can do it, I’d expect a V10 powered automobile to do it as well!

As publicity stunts go, it was a nice try. Unfortunately it left me feeling kind of “blah”.

Sorry for being an anorak but this plane is the one you see in the background on the Top Gear test track (Dunsfold Aerodrome, Guildford, Surrey, UK) and was also the plane which features in the James Bond flick Casino Royale. Just a bit of trivia for you.

Not just that, the vehicles the airport use to shift planes around as far as I know dont have a massive V10 engine!!! Dont think its as hard as some people think, afterall the plane is on wheels making it alot easier. Try dragging it along the ground!

Hey guys, hate to burst your bubble, but it was Tom Ford on Fifth Gear who towed the 747, not Jezza on Top Gear. I think it might be good to mention that it the Touareg was also filled with some 4.5 tonnes of ballast to help it get the job done….
