Azza, the other guy is right. Even though Orion is nomrally pronouced ‘O-rion’ ford said themselves that the codename is to be pronounced ‘Aur-ion’.

ok i have a jumbuck, it’s slow and not as economical as they claim, but it does handle well (on cargo tyres) and every mechanic and tyre joint are snapping them up as runabouts. they also hold their secondhand value realy well!

Reckless1 your a fool.
There is reasonably good difference to the way Orion and Aurion are said.
The Aurion is meant to be said with an ‘Aw’ before the ‘rion’ (Aw-rion)
The Falcon Orion is said with an ‘Oh’ (Oh-rion).
There is quite a large difference.
And besides there is already a Ford Orion, it came out in the 1970’s I think. They aren’t produced anymore though.

the Orion is just a nick name, the car you are referring to is, obviously, called Falcon.

As for the Protons being rubbish, yes i think the early models that came here with the Mitsu engine never really set any records with reliability and performance, but with what everl little they have learnt from Lotus, the cars have come a long way.

Protons are rubbish

They only exist as a brand because the Malaysian GovCo has HUGE tarrifs on imported cars

Days are numbered, Toyota are building a plant in My., they will slaughter Proton

This ute is a good excuse to buy a late model [still with warranty] Falcodore Ute

Driving a value is one thing. Calling anything on wheels a Jumbuck is just plain old wrong!
