My friend had a captiva diesel and towed a caravan with it. He found that if he drove faster than about 90km/h then the caravan shook around, causing the car to shake and become unstable. He used to have a Prado and towed the caravam with it without any shaking... They have since gotten rid of the Captiva and bought a Ford Territory RWD. The Captiva had many problems - it blew up 3 turbo's and the front diff siezed, all within 20,000km...
