^I agree Alex, I'd like to see Infiniti here, also considering Nissan have done the proper thing, by making their luxury brand RWD.

The FX does look great, its what I imagine a Jaguar 4WD would look like if they made one. The amount of G-series coupes I see is insane, you would almost think Infiniti was sold here.

Chris, it's not to compete with the BMW M range or sound like it's meant to, it's that the letter M is just playing the same roll in the name as the number 5 does in 5 Series. They're not shamelessly mimicking anything - it's just a letter.

Considering Infiniti's natural competition is of course Lexus, I have to say that Infiniti really impress me more than Lexus ever has. They make cars that don't just look good and handsome, but great and sometimes beautiful. The outline of the car in that picture could very well be beautiful.
Top Gear reckon that the Infiniti G37 convertible is a much better car than the IS250c and despite the Lexus having less power, I believe they cost about the same in the UK (don't hold me to that though). They think the Infiniti's interior is better quality too, and that's saying something.
I am also a fan of the FX Series of SUVs. They are so much cooler and classier than the Lexus RX series. They have far more agreeable interiors too.
I think they would do well to bring the brand to Australia. After all, there are already imported ones everywhere.

Sounds like a shameless attempt at mimicking BMW's M-Sport Series. Hell, even "N" would have been a better option.
