If I'm right Splash is produced only here, in Hungary, not in Japan, so I don't think it's going to be avaible in Australia, but may be.
Now it is only avaible in Hungary, in other european countries you only can offer.
Anyway it looks great, lot greater than on photos.
Really it's the successor of wagon r+ which I have and love, Splash is longer, wider, so better at high speed, but lower which means a little bit less space, but still one of the most spacios one in the category.
I hope I'll have one soon.

Alborz,

The diesel uptake is nowhere near Europe partly because of the $4000 premium for the diesel engine.

If Ford really wanted to steal some sales from Corolla, all they have to do is sell the diesel at the same price as the petrol.

I know that the Astra is also much dearer for the diesel, so it isn't only Ford which is being stupid.

I think Hyundai is also doing it with the Santa Fe which was a $35000 vehicle, now it's a diesel it's suddenly $47000....

My bet is the diesel won't make it here.

It would finish up too expensive.

Look at Ford with the Focus - $4000 upgrade for the diesel engine version

What a great looking little city car. I bet the little diesel will have ample torque to propel the thing forward (or reverse, if that's how you like it).

Can't wait to see a write up on this car when it makes it to our shores. Hopefully the interior is practical and flexible. It's so important in a small car.

I love it. I'd probably prefer the new Mazda2 - if I were in the market for a super small econobox - as far as styling and looks go, but this isn't far behind!
