Agreeeeed with all those comments!
its great to see mitsu back up there after falling so far for tha last 5 years. look at where this company was back in late 80s and early nineties, look at where toyota was, where mazda was - the aussie and jap mits heads fell asleep at the wheel, they shouldnt have ever let is slip so badly, i think when the new lancer comes on they have a great chance to consolidate their progress and Kenny your right a 4 cyl 380 with those features is exactly what they need, how many camrys sold are 4 cyl? i think by memory on the old model it was about 70% of them which is why they are doing really well with the new one, Aurion to take on Holden and Ford directly and "beat them at their own game" and the 4cyl can take care of the mum and dad bland retail buyers, they really are a clever company..Mitsu can go alot further if they look long term views as toyota do and listen to what the market wants..also think that it colt was constantly marketed at 14990 and pushed hard with 5 doors, ABS and the warranty thing etc then might get a few more sales going, though a new look would be better- bring back a new mirage - geez yez i know i should shut up..didnt relaise i had typed this much crap in one go - chow!

Yes I agree phaeton more marketing is one thing which will help Mitsu to maintain the sales momentum. I hope Mitsu can address the issues with the 380 in the next update due shortly, like the Mivec engine, ESC & curtain air bags & styling. Also Mitsu should look at a 4 cyl version of the 380 like the Camry & may be a medium SUV (soft roader) to slot between the Pajero & Outlander to compete against the Kluger, Territory, CX9..

I think Mitsu should try to maintain momentum until the new Lancer's arrival. The Pajero, Outlander & Triton are awesome products, I have driven both the Outlander & the Pajero, very good cars. The 380 is not a bad car, the features omitted in the 380 is the reasons for poor sales like ESP, curtain airbags, a Mivec engine, interior styling etc… The other Mitsu car not performing that well is the Colt, it's bit of surprise the colt is not that popular as light cars getting very popular. I suspect the exterior styling & pricing are the main reason the colt is not that popular.

Yeah, I love the styling of the Grandis compared ot the Torago and ugly Oddesey fridges. It looks modern and cute, and is unbelivably large (interior). The 380 could generate more popularity with the facelift, it certainly cannot get less sales, so we might as well keep our hopes up, and the launch of the next gen lancer which will coincide with the 380 update should boost sales quite well. Regardless, the advertising capaign has clearly paid off.

the Grandis sells barely anything, it is good it see though that Mitsubishi continues to sell it. Many cars companies wouldn't even bother.
It is a shame the it isn't selling well. Proper seatbelts for every passenger unlike the Odyssey, I think it is a better looker aswell.
