Yeah it really is a major competitor to the Senator and the Senator signature... Being that it is roughly $10,000 cheaper than the Senator, better fuel economy, a lighter body, more exclusives, is actually Australian Built and it goes faster... I'm pretty sure we should be looking at this the other way around... HSV have nothing on FPV... Once upon a time they did, but they've slid downhill in recent years, especially with the new HSV E2 range...
"Shockwave"??? What a joke...

"The Realist"
I think you should re-think your name, you truly expect to find all the luxury, sports and technology equipment you find in the F6 E, let alone the the FPV or even base Falcon range in a car worth $30,000 or less?

There is nothing wrong with this car, it has everything you could possibly want in a car of that caliber... you're just nit picking and trying to pin point something out about this car that doesn't exist... The steering wheel controls don't need to be illuminated and shouldn't be illuminated, as they are a distraction to the driver, Ford/FPV have grooves indented into the buttons so the driver is able to find the button they're wanting to press without taking their eyes off of the road. Ford aren't going to use LED's in the Falcon model because they are too expensive to produce and too expensive for the owner to replace. That and Ford have used the reflectors in the lamps to their advantage, there really isn't any difference between LED's and tail lights the current model Falcon has apart from price. Xenon's are illegal and car's aren't supposed to be given Australian compliance with them anymore...

Executive??? My boss is one of the highest level executives in Victoria... and he drives a Sitngray Corvette and an FPV F6 Typhoon R - Spec, but according to your stereotypical view he should be driving a Porsche or a Maserati...

Seriously, you need to find something better to do with your time... better yet, research some facts before spouting your mouth off.

Wheelnut The Senator would be its competition, but the performance would be slightly in favour of the F6E if the F6 is anything to go by. Ill have everyone know that i am a Holden/HSV man but i know a good car when i see one(F6), not this car although.
