The updated Kia Rio line-up is now complete with the arrival of the high-grade Sport and SLi variants.

The Rio Sport and SLi join the entry-level and mid-range S, S Premium and Si variants that launched locally in January.

As with those three, the Kia Rio Sport and SLi feature revised front and rear bumper designs, a new grille pattern, and subtle tweaks to the interior. Both also benefit from projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, static cornering lamps, LED tail-lights and solar glass.

The Sport variant replaces the SLS in the updated range. A three-door only model, the Rio Sport gets leatherette seat upholstery with red contrast stitching, front centre console with armrest, alloy sports pedals, and is also exclusively available in the new hero paint colour Digital Yellow. The Sport costs from $21,490 before on-road costs.

The five-door Kia Rio SLi exclusively features rear parking sensors, as well as two-tone leather/cloth upholstery, climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and privacy glass for the rear windows and tailgate. The SLi costs from $22,990.

Premium paint adds $520 to both variants.

Both carry over the existing 103kW/167Nm 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and come standard with the brand’s six-speed automatic transmission.
