Aston Martin DB10 roars into life for new James Bond Spectre trailer:: video

Of course, if previous installments of Daniel Craig’s run on the 007 franchise are anything to go by, this special new Aston’s time on the stage may be short-lived.

Technically a concept, the DB10 was revealed in December as a sleek replacement for Bond’s DBS and DB5 Astons, destroyed in the films Quantum of Solace and Skyfall respectively.

This 24th chapter in the long-running Bond series will likely see the DB10 meet a similar fate. It would be timely, though, with Aston expected to unveil its proper DB9-replacing supercar sometime next year.

The British supermarque has yet to reveal the name of its new supercar, although it has quickly become known in the press as the DB11, giving Bond’s special DB10 its due time in the spotlight.
