By George Skentzos |

BMW is set to offer an M Sports Package for the first time on its new generation 7 Series luxury sedan.

The package will accentuate the performance credentials of the BMW flagship by providing both interior and exterior highlights for a truly unique look.

The M Sports Package comprises an aerodynamics package including a new front fascia, rear apron and additional chrome trim.

Inside, owners will be greeted by illuminated M entry trims, sports seats with leather upholstery, the M leather steering wheel with multi-function buttons and the M footrest.

BMW Individual roof lining in anthracite and interior trim in fine-grain aluminium round off the interior ambience with its focus on sporting performance.

The overall look is complete by 19-inch M light-alloy wheels in double-spoke design with 20-inch wheels in the same design available as an option.

The BMW M Sports Package is available on all models in the BMW 7 Series range from September 2009 production.

Just looks different, doesn’t go harder?

They should simply come up with the real deal, the BMW M7.

  • Alex

Well, better late than never. But Seriously CA, why did it take three weeks for this to come up?
I think it looks great, but I do have something against making limousines sporty. If you want something sportier then presumably you are planning on driving yourself, so why not just buy a 5 Series? I think the S Class with the AMG package looks much classier, but this is still pretty nice. I just think the M Sport packages are beginning to look a little messy and uninspired.

Just to add, although I think the S Class looks classier, I think that a 740d with the M Sport package would make a much better everyday car than any S Class would.

Other than the chrome I like it!

oh man… when will bmw start making beautiful cars?

  • The Realist

They already do, the X6 to name just one.
