2015 Skoda Rapid Spaceback 120 Edition pricing and specifications
As a means of celebrating 120 years of existence, Volkswagen-owned Czech brand Skoda has announced a new special edition version of its small hatchback, which is creatively known as the Skoda Rapid 120 Edition.
The Skoda Rapid 120 Edition features a range of changes over the 90TSI Ambition model upon which it is based, including revised seat upholstery, grey interior stitching, a detail strip across the dashboard, panoramic glass roof, xenon headlights, tinted windows, a double-sided cargo mat, height adjustment for the passenger seat, and new 17-inch Savio alloy wheels.
According to Skoda Australia, the extras amount to $4180 of extra value, but the Skoda Rapid 120 Edition is priced at $25,990 driveaway, meaning it attracts a $2500 premium over the regular Ambition model ($23,490 driveaway).
It remains powered by the same 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 90kW of power and 200Nm of torque. The front-wheel drive hatchback comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as standard.
