Possible Buyer White [exterior] & Beige [interior] isn't that bad when you have a look at some of the colour combinations Honda have with the Accord Euro such as
Fire Truck Red/Beige and Black/Brown

As for the Tiguan - I've seen quite a few here in Adelaide in a shimery metallic blue colour similar to Impulse [which Holden had on the VZs] with a graphite grey leather interior which doesn't look bad

I: Does anyone have an opinion about choosing the white exterior and the beige sandstone leather interior!? In case, why not? Which color combintation suits the tiguan better?

II: Does the light colored leather, such as the sandstone leather easily get scratch marks or mis-colored by long usage?

I agree with brain!

The 125kw Diesel could well be tuned to around 140kw or more with gentle massaging of the turbo and exhaust.

The torque for this engine is plenty.

Mind you too the X3 BMW is a little dearer!!

Sorry to sound like a wet blanket but since when was a zero to 100k time of 10 seconds all that slow. The 125 kw diesel in the Tiguan would, like most modern diesels be a pleasure to drive with the torque it boasts.

I'll hopefully be near the top of the list for one of these beauties.

This model (grey) does not look muscular as good as the one (orange color with special Contiental oven pressed tyres) on the motor show. Even the interior finish is not exactly the same as orange one which had leather steering and tiger print leather seats.

Will purchase unless the whole orange one which was on the show to be produced!! Because this grey model just look like general conventional SUV without characters.

Thank you for your prompt response.

As a VW customer for many years and current owner of Golf GTI I am expecting to see you as world car leader in the future.

Only what we can hope here in Australia is to see the WOLKSWAGEN 2.0 Twin Turbo Diesel soon.

The BMW 123d ,world’s most powerful production four-cylinder diesel engine , Variable Twin Turbo Diesel (2008 model ) soon to be released in Australia will get a 150 KW/204 BHP and Peak torque is 400Nm from 2,000rpm, while the engine revs to in excess of 4,400rpm where peak power is attained. This performance equates to a zero to 62 mph(100 km) time of 7.0 seconds and a top speed of 148mph(240 km/h) – previously unheard of figures in such small capacity production diesels.
By comparison the output of the four-cylinder BMW 123d betters that of established six-cylinder diesel engines from both Audi and Mercedes.
It also has outstanding fuel consumption levels, 5.2 litres of diesel for 100 kilometres in the EU test cycle.

So VW/Audi watch out !

Cheers,
J. Frank Sydney
