Its not racist if the criticism is valid. Go to any Super Cheap Auto or Autobarn and buy the chinese made tools and fasteners those junk dealers sell. Watch the metal rust before your eyes, watch the threads and corners strip away as they come into contact with stronger metals (i.e: anything NOT made in China), and now imagine putting your life in the hands of the people who were responsible for this garbage.

If you can afford a new GWC or other Chinese rip off, you can afford a decent second hand Toyota or Mazda that has a four or five star safety rating.

troy Says:
anyone who supports indian cars should go out and buy a TATA TELCOLINE ute :)i have heard some HORROR stories!!

MATE have you ever driven them ? I have used them for years on farm and they are bloody good value for money. And next time dont go by what you hear go by what you have experienced. I have heard a lot of things about many BIG brands ... it doesnot make them bad.

Regarding Australia being a place for quality and all that stuff, have you seen the quality holden pumps out ? Holdon = Hold On to your car. I Owned foe for 1 yr and never again am i going to buy it.

Regarding quality and the guys who are basing INDIA and China , mate you are the same people who buy most of your stuff from the 2 dollar shop . What do you expect? Get out there and by the expensive stuff and then complain. The only thing that works against INDIA and China is because these countries produce products across the low to high range. And people being people go by the cheap stuff ( dont want to part with their dollar ) and then take the high moral ground on blogs like these. What do you recon is the quality you get from GO LO ?

If you are talking about the 2004 onwards F-Series Truck, well yes Ford has lifted its game in safety, but this test was before 2004 and its shocking!

Yeah Greg. Andy sounds like a Holdenwoo lover that can't get over how Ford make better vehicles than his GM-Hold/Dae!

Andy, any old vehicle would drive as straight as Elton John if the Alignment is out and some damage somewhere.

BTW You never said what model it was.

Andy, What are you basing your jugement on? I have been in an F-truck myself and the interior is very comfortable and surprisingly like a car. They cruse along the road very well.

You say it won't even pass Australian design standards? Well how come the last of the 10th generation F-250s and
F-350s were on the Australian market and their value has gone up since the 10th generation model ran out?

Example: An F-series truck worth $75,000 in 2003 is now valued at over $90,000 go to Ford and see an XLT 4X4 your self.

I knew an old guy who owned a 1968 F-100 it was an Ex-airport security vehicle and he owned it for along time and he drove it every day for more than 20 years untill he coudn't drive anymore. So you telling me he drove a craptruck all that time?

I personly know owners of F-series' and satisfied with them. If they are so bad, why have they been the best selling truck in the US for along time.

So Andy, do you just hate the F-series Trucks because you just hate american culture? It sounds like it to me.

Look underneath them, they are huge trucks with tough chassies, you claim their "build quality is rubbish", I don't need to read your rubbish, i'll take the facts thanks.

F-series truck are hideous! Their driveline is a straight as Elton John and build quality is rubbish. Go to your Ford dealers and try one out. But back to the Brilliance. They work extremely well in the traffic of third world countries. I jus got back from Jakarta and traffic there seems to be doing 40km/h in the best of days. But bring it here and it wont even pass Australian Design Standards. If it does...well we'll always have this website to ridicule and scare off their customers.

How is the F-Series truck crap? It got a 5 star crash test rating. Not to mention it's has been the best selling truck in the US.

You will be better off in an F-Series truck than any carm in a head on because the cars are your crumple zone.

Why does it have to stop at cheap foreign cars. Watch this F150 in crash simulation. Doesn’t come off well does it and that’s a so-called big manufacturer producing popular vehicles. It not limited to cheapo Chinese/Korean cars.
I thinks I’ll stick to worthy Euro cars.

These chinese cars will be sold in Mexico starting 1Q08, they will be focused for low income families and price starts on 6300 USD !! for that price I am not surprised of crash results, as we said "you get what you pay for"... don't ask me about mexican autorities who allowed this... we are the country where nothing happens!!!!

Most of the Taxis I've seen in Chinese TV documentries
are late model VWs made in China...
they look good but are China Only...

All New VW Beetles are made in mexico
but they tried making Golfs there and it was a disaster..

Did you know that the 1.8 litre Mitsubishi Lancer engine was made in Australia and shipped to Japan...

the old VW Beetles which were made until a few years ago in Mexico [by VW Mexico] look like the German or Australian made beetles, but the quality is very poor..
metal thickness was reduced as much as possible..

After using a few Mexican VW parts, I found they are poorly made, most parts fell apart, thats if they fitted in the first place...
