Chinese cars are rubbish. They know nothing of metallurgy, their steel sucks big time. I recently stopped selling automotive workshop machinery. I could not compete with the cheap Chinese imports. I refused to sell this junk. I would not stand under a hoist made in China, so would not sell them either.

If people will buy these products, then they have a purpose.

Supply is driven by demand, if there was NO demand of inferior products, who would be wasting their money manufacturing them?

Talk about naive.

All costs are ONLY in dollar terms, including the environment. The “value” we denote to everything is driven by supply and demand, and as one over-balances the other, there is a shift in ‘value’, which everything is given in terms of $$$

Its not racist if the criticism is valid. Go to any Super Cheap Auto or Autobarn and buy the chinese made tools and fasteners those junk dealers sell. Watch the metal rust before your eyes, watch the threads and corners strip away as they come into contact with stronger metals (i.e: anything NOT made in China), and now imagine putting your life in the hands of the people who were responsible for this garbage.

If you can afford a new GWC or other Chinese rip off, you can afford a decent second hand Toyota or Mazda that has a four or five star safety rating.

MATE have you ever driven them ? I have used them for years on farm and they are bloody good value for money. And next time dont go by what you hear go by what you have experienced. I have heard a lot of things about many BIG brands … it doesnot make them bad.

Regarding Australia being a place for quality and all that stuff, have you seen the quality holden pumps out ? Holdon = Hold On to your car. I Owned foe for 1 yr and never again am i going to buy it.

Regarding quality and the guys who are basing INDIA and China , mate you are the same people who buy most of your stuff from the 2 dollar shop . What do you expect? Get out there and by the expensive stuff and then complain. The only thing that works against INDIA and China is because these countries produce products across the low to high range. And people being people go by the cheap stuff ( dont want to part with their dollar ) and then take the high moral ground on blogs like these. What do you recon is the quality you get from GO LO ?
