Test drove a TD Ranger today against the Navara STX TD, both autos. The Ford won due to more usable power and price. They are different vehicles and both are a comprise - depends on what your preferences are - both are good, but the Ford pulled ahead faster and seemed a better tow vehicle even with the lower tow rating in auto - i think the Navara couldnt pull 3T along the highway at 100kph (60mph) - or maybe it was just Navara I drove..... both vehicles had 3000kms on them.

Choose (test drive its free) for yourself - dont belive me or what anybody writes, Im not getting paid for it but some magazines do.

Oh look everyone! Ford has pulled its head out of the clouds and ralised that they are not selling lots of these vehicles, I wonder why. Take a look at it, I mean really how do they expect this to compete with the Hilux, Triton and that nissan thingy??
