2007 Ford Ranger Price Reduction
July 2, 2007 by Alborz Fallah
Another model in the Ford lineup has undergone price reduction. The Blue Ovals Range has been reduced in price by over 13%!
Ford Chief Tom Gorman announced the new pricing for the PJ Ranger line-up alongside the price updates for the Falcon, Territory and Focus.
“Customers can now take advantage of fantastic value deals right across the Ranger line-up with price reductions of up to 13.4 per cent on 4×2 models and up to 7.7 per cent on 4×4 models.” Mr Gorman said.
The new entry-level rangers, manual transmission XL Single Cab cab/chassis models, now come with air conditioning standard.
The Ranger which was launched in late 2006 (with the automatic variants arriving earlier this year) has been a hit with the Australia market according to Ford Australia, so we wonder why Ford has reduced prices?

This Ute needs the widebody treatment ASAP
The Nissan [star] Toyota and Mitsu are all much bigger and nicer Utes
O/A
Oh look everyone! Ford has pulled its head out of the clouds and ralised that they are not selling lots of these vehicles, I wonder why. Take a look at it, I mean really how do they expect this to compete with the Hilux, Triton and that nissan thingy??
Test drove a TD Ranger today against the Navara STX TD, both autos. The Ford won due to more usable power and price. They are different vehicles and both are a comprise – depends on what your preferences are – both are good, but the Ford pulled ahead faster and seemed a better tow vehicle even with the lower tow rating in auto – i think the Navara couldnt pull 3T along the highway at 100kph (60mph) – or maybe it was just Navara I drove….. both vehicles had 3000kms on them.
Choose (test drive its free) for yourself – dont belive me or what anybody writes, Im not getting paid for it but some magazines do.
