2016 Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series leaks online
If you believe what you see on the internet, this could be the 2016 Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series.
A number of apparent leaked images from Instagram user @hamad1two3 purportedly show an updated version of the Toyota LandCruiser, though there has been plenty of discussion over whether the heavily revised front-end styling seen here is legitimate or not.
The changes appear substantial: there's a new grille, bumper, headlights and bonnet, all of which blend together to give the big Japanese four-wheel drive a more aggressive appearance.
There are also a number of brochure images, apparently showing design highlights of the updated 2016 LandCruiser including new LED elements to the headlights, revised tail-light assemblies, and a revamped instrument cluster.
Further changes are expected inside the cabin, too, with a new touchscreen media system, new rear seat entertainment, a revised shift surround and new switchgear, while an array of wood finishes and interior trim colour changes are also expected.
While it isn't an all-new model, you could say it is about time the Toyota LandCruiser saw some styling attention - in terms of appearance, it has gone largely unchanged in its current-generation guise model hit showrooms in 2008.
International reports suggest the new-look Toyota LandCruiser should hit showrooms in 2016, and given this is a big car worthy of a big reveal, we would expect it to make its debut at the 2015 Tokyo motor show in October.
