Chevrolet Camaro ‘Transformers Edition’
General Motors have launched a 'Transformers Edition' of its 2010 Chevrolet Camaro this week for fans wanting to make their car look like the movie's namesake Bumblebee.
The package, which costs an additional US$995, sees yellow only Camaros fitted with black rally stripes on the bonnet, Autobot shields (Autobots are the good guys in the movie) on the front quarter panels and centre caps of the wheels as well as an embroided shield on the centre console.
"When the first Transformers movie was setting box-office records, we had countless customers asking to purchase the 'Bumblebee' Camaro," said Karen Rafferty, Chevrolet product marketing director.
The basic Camaro specs remain. The Transformers logo also appears on the sill plates and hood stripes.
