Cobra N+ tunes the Nissan 370Z
July 11, 2009 by George Skentzos
The first company outside of Nissan’s own in-house tuning arm Nismo has revealed its unique take on the new 370Z.
The Cobra N+ 370Z offers a range of visual and aerodynamic upgrades for the standard car, manufactured in carbon-fiber-look finishes which are available to order through Nissan dealers – overseas at least.
A new front-splitter has been developed which apes the standard 370Z yet offers improved downforce, precisely fitting the opening of the air inlet of the production front apron.
At the rear the Cobra N+ receives similar treatment with a new diffuser insert for the production apron which features a centrally located reflector and twin cutouts for the custom sports exhaust system.
Along with the visual enhancements, the package also includes an exclusive lightweight 19-inch wheel combination with matched lowered sports suspension.
Engineers have developed the CN22 wheels with six double spokes to be extremely lightweight while at the same time increasing the 370Z’s track.
Two sports rear mufflers are available – a conventional stainless steel system as well as an electronically-controlled active sports system which allows the driver to switch between discrete sportiness and loud bark at the touch of a button.

RAWR!!! Sexy!
Goodness me – I was going to write that I can’t think why tuning an engine always has to mean tasteless visual alterations but seriously, the 370z looks almost, well, right with the black front grill. The back also looks less fidgity. I like it, but I would never buy one, I’d save my money and get a Cayman.
The only things wrong with it that I can think of are that I think the mufflers should have been black to match the wheels and I don’t think the wheel design matches the car.
Nice looking car good to see thay have put nice touchs to the car not like some after market stuff with stickers and wings all over the place.Thay done just enough to make it look good and not stupid over top stuff
Oh that’s tough! However I do agree with Alex on this note. If I had the money for that, I’d rather buy an FPV F6 310 =)
Still, there are some very nice mods on this already very nice car.
Carbon-Fibre-Look upgrades?
Massive FAIL.
NacaYoda – I think by cabon-fibre-look they mean black…
If the upgrades were really carbon-fibre, you would buy a techart cayman cos it would be THAT expensive!
