Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster spotted cold weather testing

Fresh from the Geneva Motorshow reveal of the 552kW Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce coupe comes images of its fresh-air counterpart undergoing winter testing in the Arctic.

A fleet of Lamborghini models (we spot two Huracans and two Aventadors) were snapped at a fuel stop in the far north of Europe alongside the prototype version of the Superveloce (SV) Roadster.

All the camouflage wrap in the world can't hide the wild lines of the V12 Italian supercar, and those giant rally spotlights don't make the test cars particularly subtle, either.

It is expected the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster will be basically identical to the coupe - removable roof panel notwithstanding.

Based on the SV coupe shown at Geneva, TopSpeed has produced a render to illustrate how the SV Roadster could look.

Australian pricing for the SV coupe was recently announced at $882,650 (plus on-road costs) - the roadster will cost more, but as they say, if you have to ask how much, you can't afford it.
