Comments on: Camaro could still go on sale in Australia

This might be late, but today I saw the new Camaro in the city of Melbourne.
It was the Australian version because the rear lights where red and orange.
Does anyone know where this car was purchased if the Camaro is not on sale in Australia yet?

How great is this, a small aussie importer has the skills and technology to convert the car to RHD without help from GM or Holden. Good on Performax, show GM the market they’re missing out on.

That is funny, I do not remember a diesel holding the record around the Nurburgring …must have missed that one.
You also knocked the Volt in its latest article for having poor styling yet praised the Skoda Superb in its recent post…..

I think most on this site would agree with me that your not a car enthusiast just a boring old twat….(sorry to everyone else. I know the term twat is usually only used by 60 year old English folk…..but thats the word that comes to mind whenever I read his posts)

Will, this article is about a Camaro, not a Corvette? I’m not a revhead but a business-minded person. If people want a diesel powered sports car, they go buy an Audi or whatever Euro makes them. At the end of the day, the people that buy these cars (and they buy alot) want a V8 petrol engine without the added weight and complexity of diesel/hybrid. Some may see them as too simple, but the buyers see them as purist and original, and I for one think it’s nice to see some actual spirit and character shine through in the recent bleak times.

Personally, I don’t like VB. I get where you are going with that, but I am not a hillbilly. It’s not that I don’t care about your opinion, just think about the business case and target market! Diesels, hybrids and all sorts of technology have a valid place in motoring, just not in every car.
